Veteran journalist and author Ronald Jordan worked as a reporter and editor for the Winston-Salem (N.C.) Journal for 26 years, as well as in public relations before retiring to begin a new career as a freelance writer.
For nearly 15 years, he wrote Ringside Wrestling, a weekly syndicated pro wrestling column made available to more than 100 newspapers across the country courtesy of Media General News Services. When the column ceased publication in 2006, Ron focused his attention solely on freelance, and his full-time job as editor with a national/international Christian ministry. Since launching Jordan Media Services in 1996, it has been Ron’s goal to help aspiring writers to become published authors. Through JMS, Ron provides writing, editing, ghostwriting and proofreading services, as well as book formatting, cover design and other graphics services.
A published author, Ron has written four Christian-themed books for Honor Books, a division of Cook Communications. They include: God’s Hand on My Shoulder for Teens; Soul Praise; Soul Cry; and God’s Little Devotional Book for the African American. He is also the author of two soon-to-be-published children’s books: The Prodigal Dad and My Dream Wall.
A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Ron and his family now make their home in the Lone Star state of Texas.
